Nomeco consists of two divisions: One as a wholesaler for Danish pharmacies and another as a warehouse and service partner for the pharmaceutical industry and supplier to hospital pharmacies.
In both divisions, our specialists work closely together to deliver the best solutions. Our common goal is to be the best partner in healthcare logistics.
We have offices and warehouses in Copenhagen, Odense, Aarhus and Aalborg, while our HealthCare Logistics division operates from our head office in Copenhagen and a state-of-the-art distribution centre in Køge.
A Danish company - part of an international family
Nomeco is a Danish company, founded in Copenhagen, but we are also part of the PHOENIX Group - a family-owned German company and the largest pharmaceutical wholesaler in Europe with operations in 29 countries.

Compliance in Nomeco and PHOENIX Group
Compliance is a key element in our daily operations - both within Nomeco, but also in the European community through PHOENIX Group. We live by responsible and compliant actions that are central to our existence and partnerships. We are dedicated to upholding the highest standards, especially in integrity and accountability.
Compliance
In addition to the social responsibility we bear as specialists in healthcare logistics, respectful cooperation is also essential for a trusting relationship with our customers, clients, business partners and stakeholders.
Our compliance policies set out our company's belief that corruption and anti-competitive and inappropriate behaviour have no place in either Nomeco or PHOENIX Group - and thus also not in our partnerships. We do not tolerate violations of our policies, but when they occur, we act in accordance with the policies, conduct thorough investigations and impose penalties if necessary.
Reporting
PHOENIX Group has established an online incident reporting system. Whether you are a PHOENIX employee, Nomeco employee or third party, you can report suspected compliance violations or actual incidents anonymously.
The system is operated by an external service provider, and the identity of the whistleblower cannot be traced unless you as an individual agree to share personal data.
Certification of PHOENIX Compliance Management System
At Nomeco and PHOENIX Group, we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and accountability. Therefore, we are very pleased that PHOENIX Group has had our CMS externally audited with the pillars Anti-Corruption, Competition Law Compliance, Sanctions & Embargo Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering according to Assurance Standard 980 of the Institute of Public Auditors in Germany (IDW PS 980, ‘Appropriateness’ Certification).
The certification enables us to ensure that we systematically mitigate risks and have established effective processes.
